Taking fitness classes with Boot Camp Hawaii, our fitness instructor Emily Boll invited her students to an opportunity to spend a brunch with Chef Scott Sakaguchi through his Mediterranean Cooking Class at the Contemporary Café. I think the class was only $25/pp and sounded so much fun. I signed us up!
Chef Scott Sakaguchi has been the kitchen manager at the Honolulu Academy of Arts and offers classes on nutritional dishes and prepping food in partnership with Boot Camp Hawaii.
There was a great number of us in attendance ready to get our cook on.
I don’t exactly remember what we cooked but I remember it was my first time working with phyllo dough and cooking fish in parchment paper.
Everything was delicious!
