Only opened in 1971, Snowbird's Aerial Tram takes us on a 1.6-mile cable and up 2,900 vertical feet, which takes about 10-minutes to reach the top of Hidden Peak with an elevation of 11,000 ft. Here I've captured some views of the experience.
We were hoping to eat at The Summit (Snowbird's mountaintop restaurant while enjoying views of snow-capped slopes and the Salt Lake Valley) but we didn't realize in this first week of December season that they were only open on weekends.
