Jamie Oliver specialty dining for lunch was enjoyed by our family of 6 aboard Royal Caribbean's Ovation of the Seas.

The Venue
Jamie's Italian Restaurant
The only knowledge I had of Jamie Oliver was that he's a celebrity British chef renowned for Italian cuisine. Also, my Chinese friend turned me onto a YouTube video that was published in July 2020 where Uncle Roger (comedian Nigel Ng) mocked Jamie Oliver's egg fried rice recipe (worth a watch... entertaining).

Cured Meat Plank - San Danicle prosciutto, Tuscan fennel salami, schiacciata piccante, pistachio mortadella, tomato & olive crostini, baby mozzarella, pecorino sardo & chilli jam, olives & pickles, freshly baked focaccia.
Truffle Arancini - Cheesy truffle risotto balls, truffled Béchamel sauce, shave truffle, veggie Parmesan
Ultimate Garlic Buns - Soft tear & share bread, veggie Parmesan, rosemary... plus... Avocado Caesar Salad - Crunchy baby gem & radicchio, avocado, anchovies, avo Caesar dressing, garlicky breadcrumbs, aged Parmesan
Skin-On Fries with sea salt... plus... Polenta Chips - Crispy rosemary, veggie Parmesan
Penne Carbonara - Creamy pasta, smoky pancetta, slow-cooked leaks, aged Parmesan
Penne Vodka Arrabbiata - Vodka-spiked spicy tomato sauce, creamy buffalo mozzarella, chilli flakes, aged Parmesan
Straight Up Lasagna - Layers of rich beef & pork ragu, creamy Béchamel sauce, pasta sheets, mozzarella & aged Parmesan.

Tiramisu - Boozy coffee-drenched savoiardi sponge biscuits, silky clementine mascarpone, cocoa... plus... Amalfi Lemon Cheesecake - Velvety mascarpone & lemon cheesecake, torched Italian meringue, lemon curd, blueberry compote.
Verdict: Although lunch might have been an abbreviated menu, we all were satisfied with our choice of specialty dining on this Tokyo to Singapore 11-day Far East cruise.
