Our port excursion today takes us touring Antigua on a 52-foot powercat that fits 49 passengers but they set the tour with a max of 31 people. St John's cruise port is on the northwest side of the island and our tour takes us exploring the northeast side. Highlights include: snorkeling, birding, Hell's gate and a hike at Great Bird Island where we also had wonderful lunch.

A few photo-ops on off to find Radcliffe Quay - the pickup location for our Antigua Eco-Tour.

Arriving at Hell's Gate - where the Caribbean Sea meets the Atlantic.

We arrived at Great Bird Island - the spot for our beginner snorkel, lunch and hike.

They served pasta salad (made with lots of garlic, parmesan cheese, and olive oil), the best BBQ chicken on Antigua, sweet plantains and soft, chewy banana bread. The fish seemed to enjoy any lettuce that flew off the boat from a nice breeze, too.

Tropical drinks always there to hydrate us: guava & passion fruit or rum punch.

Work off lunch with a short hike while at Great Bird Island.
