Absolutely a movie fan of Hugh Jackman, of course, like most first setting my eyes on him with his character as Wolverine in the X-Men (2000) flick. But more recently enjoying his musicals – Les Misérables (2012) and The Greatest Showman (2017). A great date night as this was my treat this evening.
Was so glad tickets were affordable securing the Concourse Level - Section: 204, Row: R, Seat: 11 & 12. These seats are the very back of the venue... against the wall with no one behind you. I sometimes love these seats because you can get up and dance without bothering anyone.
My only two complaints about the evening:
1. Our seats were that they were obstructed views. The tickets did not indicate this either. A little disappointing but something to note for future attendance to the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
2. MGM Grand Garden Arena security gave us a hard time with our binoculars. Huge lines to get through security. Upon arriving to the front of line, the security staff said we couldn't bring our binoculars inside! We had already been waiting 30-min. in line. No lockers (i.e. like the coat check service of the past). We'd have to walk back all the way to our parked vehicle or risk stashing them somewhere around the property. Then, get back in line. Why is this when "binoculars" are not listed as Prohibited Items on MGM's website. This was our 1st event and MGM Grand and it was not a good experience attending only to be forced to arrive even later due to security. If items are prohibited, shouldn't there be representatives outside letting people in line know or signs at least like at the airport?
