Dinners in the Main Dining Restaurant

  • SERVICE: ★★★★★
  • FOOD: ★★★☆☆

The service is great! They pull the chair out for you; place your napkin on your lap; and remember your drink preference days later. The speed of serving the courses was something to take note of = Excellent! We were never late to the evening entertainment.

The food, on the other hand, was sometimes a hit and miss. One day, Bill ordered seared ahi tuna and I swear... it was like rubber. Was it microwaved? Bill has acquired a taste for good ahi from all the ahi poke bowls we’ve eaten living in O'ahu.

I recall ordering Crème Brûlée… which is one of my favorite desserts growing up on Filipino Leche Flan. What I got must’ve been overcooked because instead of being rich and creamy, it had a dense texture and thicker than any pudding consistency I’ve tasted.

Surprisingly, we feel formal main dining aboard Carnival cruises had been better in comparison in our cruise life, so far.
