What a Deal: The Best Cruise Parking in Fort Lauderdale

Tomorrow we set sail aboard Royal Caribbean's Serenade of the Seas for an 11-night Southern Caribbean Cruise. The best way to feel refreshed for the start of a cruise is to arrive a day or more before the cruise. No need to stress or fret about missing a flight, missing a connecting flight, lost luggage, or any other reasons that may delay travel to the port. We've tried those cheap budget park n' rides and actually parking at the cruise port, but I think this was the best deal for cruise parking we've ever experienced.

Before booking, we called La Quinta and asked about parking... letting them know we were going to jump on a cruise. We were only arriving a day before the cruise and still they offered that we leave our car with them. That's 11-nights of free parking that would be $15 to $19/day if Parking at Port Everglades.

Lobby and Reception

This is where we sat the next morning with Breakfast included in our stay. They have one of those make-your-own-waffles machines and I leaned towards having a few boiled eggs.

They have Complimentary Wifi too and this was a great area if you wanted a change of scenery from your room.

La Quinta Plantation - Room 103

Room was comfy and quiet. Had a great night's sleep. Would stay at this La Quinta, again and again. We hope they keep the free parking for cruise passengers!
