I would never call myself a gardener nor ever claim to have a green thumb. I’ve never touched soil in my life.
MY HISTORY WITH SUCCULENTS
I was gifted succulents once before as a housewarming gift, and unfortunately they died. One of the plants that needs minimal maintenance died. “Hi, my name is Maya and I have killed succulents…” I imagine saying at an - I Suck at Gardening Group.
I spotted an Instagram announcement (@parkesdalemarket @parkesdale) about a Terrarium Workshop. Thought to myself, “This is where the tides change. I will put my best foot forward and give succulents another go.”
So glad we have creative classes like these only 10 minutes from our home in Plant City.

Unseen in any of the pictures was a nice fan to keep us cooler from the Florida summer mugginess. It helped a lot!
