Erasure – World Be Gone Tour (St Petersburg, FL)
The last time I went to a Erasure concert on Dec. 4, 1992 – senior year of high school, during their “Phantasmagorical Tour” at Jones Hall, in Houston, Tx. I was visiting my sister at Texas A&M where a bunch of friends had already purchased tickets. We all caravanned on this road trip adventure. For those of us who didn’t have tickets, we purchased ours from scalpers. Such a spontaneous journey and what a setlist they had back then. But Erasure can never fail to entertain.
FIRST, GREEK DINNER AT ACROPOLIS GREEK TAVERNA
It was our first time spending a Saturday evening in St. Pete and so pleasantly surprised to discover all the restaurants and boutiques alongside Central Ave. After a short stroll, we decided on outdoor dining at Acropolis. The weather wasn’t muggy (maybe being in close proximity to Tampa Bay?). We didn’t know what we missed inside until we visited the restroom and saw they had a belly dancer and live Bouzouki performing. Aw-shucks! The food was great!
