RVing Trip Ideas
RV Day #8: Time to move from Mission Bay RV Park to Capri RV Resort. We jump on Hwy 8 East where we say goodbye to California and hello Arizona! It’s only an overnight pitstop to rest before another drive from Yuma, AZ to Mayer, AZ. Here we go to RV Park #2 where we see the Mexican Border, pass through the small town of Jacumba and the Imperial Sand Dunes.
RV Day #1: We start our RV Trip in San Diego, California. Our RV still wasn’t organized. We didn’t have supplies: hanging dryer, dishes or groceries. We still had to unpack our luggage of clothes. We had a lot of chores, like dusting and vacuuming. We have so much to learn about our RV so we can create good habits for traveling. In between, we would visit with friends and our old favorite hangouts.
First learned about folding boats back on January 22 as I was researching about folding bikes (Brompton) and finally had the funds to purchase a used 2006 Porta Bote. It’s going to fit perfect on the roof racks of the Mini Cooper.
After the Houston RV Show, we really scoured RV Trader and RVT for RVs for sale. We arrived at the 2010 Gulf Stream Montaj 29H with only 7,871 miles. It was 30.83 ft. (370 in.) long and 8 ft. (96 in.) wide. It was in immaculate condition and only had a single owner who had no pets, no kids and didn’t smoke.
