Our waiter at The Pantry suggested the scenic drive on CA-154 E (San Marcos Pass Rd) when we told him we were on our way back home taking US101-S. We were coming from Santa Maria and driving towards Los Angeles and glad we took this scenic route (… spotting falcons, deer, and all the lovely wineries) along the way. The vista point over Santa Ynez Valley was found directly after passing Lake Cachuma.
First time visiting Santa Maria, CA to pick up a 2015 Polaris RZR XP 1000. Relieved after a long 6-hr drive from home to know the owners of the off road vehicle only lived 6 min from this hotel. When we made reservations, we didn’t know it was haunted.
We had costumes this year and decorated the Polaris Rzr for Halloween. This year’s theme – The Flintstones but as Barney and Betty. The neighbors had a great idea to drive around and pass out candy instead of waiting for kids to ring the doorbell. It was great fun to spread a positive spirit of Halloween. Maybe this will be a new tradition for the neighborhood?!
My first time seeing any president up close and personal. Somehow President Trump chose our little town of Bullhead City, AZ for his rally. It was so interesting to witness Secret Service, Presidential K9s, motorcades, Air Force One landing and departing. It was a great showing of what a peaceful demonstration looks like. The event started with prayer and continued with the pledge of allegiance plus talk of hope and recovery. I got to dance with the president (along with 15,000 others in attendance)!
You’ll find visiting Flagstaff that you’ll be surrounded by mountains, desert and ponderosa pines and known for its San Francisco Peaks, Humphreys Peak (Arizona’s tallest mountain at 12,633 feet in elevation) and the Arizona Snowbowl ski resort. Those are the more popular aspects of Flagstaff but we found this gem of a hike within the Coconino National Forest – Red Mountain Trail (GPS).
The fastest, cheapest way to pick up our newly purchased 2018 Winnebago Sunstar LX at an RV dealership in Orlando was to fly. Can you believe it was only $150.20 for two people with 2 checked luggages with no carry-on to travel domestically 2,030 miles. How has travel changed for Covid-19? Was it safe?
