Met in the Lineup
We both share a passion for surfing and met on a typical, sunny San Diego surf break. I was covered head to toe wearing a 4/3 Wetsuit, Hat, Booties and Gloves floating in the channel. Bill paddled over in just boardshorts… toughing out the 64° to 66°F water temperature. He welcomed me to the peak of the wave and the lineup. It all started there.

Have you ever heard of Mais Queso Ice Cream? It sounds like a weird combination, right? But it tastes so yummy! That’s like us. We’re 20 years apart but have the same passions and goals to experience this planet and are BEST FRIENDS.
Adventure & Experiences
Although we started in Hawaii having different jobs, we both ended up working as Expedia Local Experts. Bill was nominated for “Concierge of the Year 2011” and I was nominated “Concierge of the Year 2012”, to boot! It was a great opportunity to learn more about our islands and experience $25,249.38 worth of tours and activities combined! Not too shabby for 2 years of selling fun for a living.

And Away We Go!
It took a year for us to Plan our full-time RV Road Trip but it finally came true. 2014 was our RV Adventure of a Lifetime before we go back home to Hawaii. I’ve always had the travel bug while Bill’s really kicked in after our Alaska Inside Passage Cruise that set sail from Vancouver, BC back in September 2012 (or was it our Rome vacation back in August 2011… as both destinations were simply amazing!!!).
