If you’re patient enough to stay in one place and observe the animals, you typically can witness some different behaviors on every visit… especially for any newborns (i.e. on our visit – the orangutan newborns) at the zoo. We have an annual pass… only $129 / 2-person and there’s so much to see still after only two(2) visits so far this season. There hasn’t been a crowd yet as we’ve visited on weekdays.
Day 2 RV-ing: Today we seek out a specialist to get a tow bar and InvisiBrake® by Roadmaster installed for our Gulfstream Montaj 29H to Mini Cooper. They’ll need our vehicles all day. How to pass the time? A day at San Diego Safari Park with Billy Jr. where we really enjoy the Ring-tailed Lemur Walk and Pygmy Falcon encounter.
Today, I fell in Love with the Fennec Fox at the Honolulu Zoo!!! “The fennec fox is the smallest of all foxes. The prey it hunts in the evening provide its moisture that it needs no drinking water at all! The fennec is a true ‘desert fox.’ Its large ears also serves to dissipate heat.” -Honolulu Zoo
