First Time: Whitewater Rafting on the Pigeon River (Hartford, Tennessee)
September 16, 2014 | JWadmin 1Call us adrenaline junkies. Adventure tourism is our style of travel since we’re always on the lookout for activities that involve an element of risk. When we had recently experienced a Carolina Moonshine ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railway, we saw an activity desk passing out brochures for a beginner-friendly white water rafting outfit in Hartford, Tennessee called "Wildwater." Do Tarpons Bite? We Found Out at Robbie’s! (Islamorada, Florida)
April 3, 2014 | JWadminWe just recently learned how to fish for tarpon. Today, we’ve changed it up and went to feed them…. HAND FEED these "silver kings!!!" Fishing: Hooking Tarpon from No Name Key Bridge (Big Pine Key, Florida)

Snorkeling at Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary – Florida
March 21, 2014 | JWadmin"Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary was created in 1990. It is named for the HSM Looe, A British ship that wrecked in 1744. Located just five miles from our shore, we are the closest point to Looe Key with running time about 30 minutes." – Strike Zone Charters.
How convenient and just our cup of tea since their 1st tour time was doable – 9:30am. Enough time for coffee and breakfast to get our energy up for the snorkel. They have a 1:30pm tour but anyone who goes out in the ocean knows that the earlier the better. Why? Wind kicks in as the earth wakes up. Enjoy our video of the experience. It was a cloudy snorkel day but fun anyways.
