We enjoyed staying in Debbie’s New & Clean Makati Condo w/Balcony between Dec.16-26. Fairly new travelers renting from owners versus staying at a hotel, you always have some doubt if the ad matches what you actually get upon arrival. Happy to say that the pictures, represented on Airbnb, matched what we saw when we walked into the studio.
We enjoyed staying in Jayme’s Brand New Studio Unit in Makati between Dec.3-7. Centrally located between Hilo and Kalapana on the East side of the Big Island, we had chosen Seeker’s Hive – A Home Away From Home. We rented the Pele Room for $49/night. Glad we did and in the future will rent again from these salt-of-the-earth hosts: Jay, Vijay and Sangeeth. They had just recently moved to the Big Island from Minnesota so they shared their passion for their new home!
A’Zambezi River Lodge was our gateway to experience all that Victoria Falls had to offer. Sunset cruises, fishing trips and such were located right on or beside the property. All of our tours provided pickup whether it was for our Canoe Safari on the Upper Zambezi River, Victoria Falls helicopter tour, or Morning Lion Walk… everything was convenient. The lodge didn’t disappoint as base to experience all this.
I purchased the Dyson Digital Slim™ DC35 back in Hawaii knowing it’d be a practical purchase for RVing. When I purchased it at Costco, they had it on sale with the added bonus of extra accessories for all types of cleaning jobs. Although a full charge lasts about 6-15 minutes, how long does one need for a 29-foot motorhome?
It’s an octopus… no… it’s a hanging clothes line! It comes in 3 colors. It has 16 clothes clips and will hang perfectly in our RV shower for those delicate or hand wash only fabrics not good for dryers.

Breakfast before hitting Universal Studios for the day. Aroma Coffee And Tea (rated 4.5 out of 5.0 stars) – We ordered the ‘Breakfast Enchiladas’ for $11.95… three corn tortillas stuffed with grilled chicken & sautéed spinach topped with enchilada sauce, crème fraiche + cotija cheese side three scrambled eggs & black beans.
When was the last time you got a massage? Tick-tock-tick-tock… Are you pausing too long to answer this question? If so, sounds like you haven’t treated yourself to one in a long while. That’s just so wrong! Massages are so awesome and have so many health benefits. How often should we get massages? My answer: As often as you can afford! Fortunately, there’s CrowdSavings.com Honolulu that had a great promotion for a 60-minute massage with Red Earth Massage and Wellness. As of today, they hold a 5 out of 5 star rating on Yelp based on 21 reviews.
