After setting up at Capri RV Resort (Yuma, AZ) and a shower to rinse off the drive… we were ready for dinner. On the way, we saw a billboard for Prime Rib at Quechan Casino. That’s sounded tasty. It was only a little over 10 miles away, too. Back on Hwy 8 and headed back into California. As we found parking at the casino, we noticed quote a few RVers parked. Looks like Quechan Casino offers free RV Parking but I don’t know if that’s an overnight or multiple night stay. As a newbie RVer, we’ve heard many casinos accomodate the RV community but it’s always a good idea to inquire ahead of time to make sure (…just like Walmart recommends…).
Dinner in Little Italy, Downtown San Diego which has been “a stable ethnic business and residential community, since the 1920′s.” Only a few minutes walk from Billy Jr’s place… so very convenient and we can see why they love where they live! Little Italy is central… right next to Interstate-5 and the San Diego International Airport. So many choices for dining here! Our choice for the evening – Burger Lounge.
We ate our way through downtown Seattle based on proximity and convenience and not so much researching The Best Eateries or reading Best Places to Eat in Downtown Seattle articles. Sometimes it pays to visit the hotel concierge or ask a few locals. We were quite pleased where we ended up with a few tasty bites.
