You may or may not agree that we’re attached to our cars. We’ve done many a road trip with our own vehicle or by renting a car on trips. But, if you have the time for a longer journey that allows you to sit back and relax, then maybe consider train travel to the self-drive or flying. We did! Traveling by rail is less hassle than air travel. It’s easy to stretch your legs. It’s less stressful than driving!
We ate our way through downtown Seattle based on proximity and convenience and not so much researching The Best Eateries or reading Best Places to Eat in Downtown Seattle articles. Sometimes it pays to visit the hotel concierge or ask a few locals. We were quite pleased where we ended up with a few tasty bites.
If you like architecture, history, arts, music, food and shopping… Seattle has it all. Typically, I always visit the official Travel & Tourism website of a destination, in this case – Visit Seattle. Our visit to Seattle will be short (June 28 – June 30)… only a few days before jumping on the old-school, charm of train travel from Seattle to San Diego… aboard The Coast Starlight by Amtrak. I chose Hotel 1000 for it’s comforts and proximity to things to do in Seattle nearby.
