April 13, 2018 | 2

Our port excursion we were stick-in-the-muds in St Lucia with Carnival Sailing with their Land & Sea Adventure. Port Excursion: Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens (Soufriere Estate, St. Lucia)

April 13, 2018 |

Last time in St Lucia we went with Spencer Ambrose Tours for a challenging 4-mile roundtrip hike up 2,619 feet above sea level on the iconic Gros Piton. This time around we wanted to chill. So, we decided to try Carnival Sailing and participate in their Full Day Land & Sea Adventure. It allowed us to admire the beautiful mountain scenery from a catamaran on the way to Soufriere Harbor to visit Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens to see the 17-meter/56-feet falls that tumble down the mountain from the volcano; get down and dirty at the La Soufrière Drive In Volcano for a mud scrub and soak; lunch at Fond Doux Plantation Resort; check out Marigot Bay; then, finish off the tour snorkeling. Review: (Booking.com) Lost Horizon Beach Dive Resort, Bohol, Philippines

January 16, 2015 | 2

Bohol Island Attractions such as the Tarsiers, Chocolate Hills, and Loboc River Cruise, were enough reasons a visit to Bohol was on our travel itinerary. With a bit of research, Alona Beach had been promoted as a mini Boracay Island by locals for its "pristine stretch of white sand, turquoise waters and palm trees." Specifically, Lost Horizon Resort seemed to be the perfect location that would cater all our needs. We didn’t have many. Simply, we wanted to (#1) eliminate any transit time to get to the beach, plus (#2) be in close proximity to a variety of restaurants and finally access (#3) high-speed WiFi / Internet. We stayed Jan.10-16 for $396 / ₱17,670 and highly recommend a stay at this resort and here’s why. Read More
