Holidays With My Godparents (Crawley, Texas)

Holidays With My Godparents (Crawley, Texas)

What better way to celebrate the holidays but to catch up with the godparents!!! I know it’s been at least 5+ years since I’ve seen my Ninang Sally and Ninong Ed.

They take us for a holiday feast at one of their favorite restaurants – Wasabi Sushi (5443 S Hulen St, Fort Worth, TX 76132)

This is the “Oh My god Roll” – Tempura shrimp, cream cheese, avocado inside topped with crab meat served with four different house sauces. It was their most popular roll and I now know why…MMMmmm-mmm!!

Thank you Ninang and Ninong for introducing us to your taste in Japanese food! There was absolutely nothing we didn’t find tasty.

Ninang Sally and my mom have been very close friends dating back to their college days. So glad they still keep in touch.

Back to my godparent’s house for great conversation over dessert and coffee.

They live in the country where quails, wild turkey and deer reside.

We wanted to keep the deer around…

Such a treat… wildlife!!!

If you don’t live where the rest of your family live… were you able to get home for the holidays?
