RV Park: Deer Sightings at Hidden Valley (San Antonio, Texas)

We picked Hidden Valley RV Park because it’s situated in the outskirts of San Antonio and was a bit of country. We’ve seen the variety of wildlife in the area from their website’s photo gallery. This morning, we take a stroll on the property to see if we can spot any wildlife. We got lucky!

We see a bunch of animal tracks – assuming they were mostly deer and pigs which Teri, RV Park owner, had mentioned.

It was such a quiet walk accompanied by all the Texas birds that call these acres home.

Oh… wow! A family of 5 crossing our path. How lucky are we?!!

Nice sized deer…

Bambi makes a run for it…

That was special… our first time walking the grounds and we spot wildlife. Now for the wild pigs and maybe an armadillo?!

QUESTION: What type of wildlife have you seen at RV Parks you’ve called home?

They’ve had an alligator pass thru from time to time around their fishing hole… yikes! We went fishing 2x and thank goodness didn’t see him.
