REVIEW: Paris Hotel (Las Vegas, NV)

December 29, 2017 |

Our last visit to Vegas, we had stayed at Mandalay Bay in December 2011 having enjoyed Disney’s Lion King musical and the Sky Jump at the Stratosphere adventure. This time in Vegas was due to a family reunion. Paris Hotel wasn’t our 1st choice for accommodations but other family members were planning to book there. OVERALL RATING: 3 out of 5 stars. In summary, would we stay in Paris Hotel again? No. And here’s why. Read More

Been a fan of Gordon Ramsay from watching BBC’s Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, U.K.’s F-Word and America’s shows like Hotel Hell, Hell’s Kitchen, MasterChef and MasterChef Junior. We couldn’t pass up an opportunity to enjoy his food while in Vegas. We had to have one dinner at Gordon Ramsay Steak. Read More

The Neon Museum (Las Vegas, NV)

December 21, 2017 |

First learned about The Neon Museum on Instagram. Vegas is known for their bright lights so why not take homage to it’s historic neon light history?! I only wish we were in Las Vegas in the summer months so we could enjoy a warmer visit in the evening. We opted for a tour after we visited The Mob Museum closeby. Read More

Review: Iron Blosam Lodge (Snowbird, Utah)

December 9, 2017 |

I’ve never been to Utah but follow IG: VisitUtah for quite some time with the lure of all their National Parks. Never would I imagine vacationing during winter. It would be Bill and my first ski trip. Plus, we were able to visit some family, too! Read More

Hidden Peak by Snowbird’s Aerial Tram (Snowbird, UT)

December 8, 2017 |

We were hoping to eat at The Summit (Snowbird’s mountaintop restaurant while enjoying views of snow-capped slopes and the Salt Lake Valley) but we didn’t realize in this early season that they were only open on weekends. Only opened in 1971, Snowbird’s Aerial Tram takes us on a 1.6 mile cable and up 2,900 vertical feet which takes about 10-minutes to reach the top of Hidden Peak – Elevation of 11,000 ft. Here I’ve captured some views of the experience. Read More

Review: (Booking.com) Lost Horizon Beach Dive Resort, Bohol, Philippines

January 16, 2015 | 2

Bohol Island Attractions such as the Tarsiers, Chocolate Hills, and Loboc River Cruise, were enough reasons a visit to Bohol was on our travel itinerary. With a bit of research, Alona Beach had been promoted as a mini Boracay Island by locals for its "pristine stretch of white sand, turquoise waters and palm trees." Specifically, Lost Horizon Resort seemed to be the perfect location that would cater all our needs. We didn’t have many. Simply, we wanted to (#1) eliminate any transit time to get to the beach, plus (#2) be in close proximity to a variety of restaurants and finally access (#3) high-speed WiFi / Internet. We stayed Jan.10-16 for $396 / ₱17,670 and highly recommend a stay at this resort and here’s why. Read More
