RV Park: Mission Bay RV Resort (San Diego, CA)

November 3, 2013 | 3

RV Day #1: We start our RV Trip in San Diego, California. Our RV still wasn’t organized. We didn’t have supplies: hanging dryer, dishes or groceries. We still had to unpack our luggage of clothes. We had a lot of chores, like dusting and vacuuming. We have so much to learn about our RV so we can create good habits for traveling. If you fly all the way across the globe to get there, can’t we stay as long as possible? When is the best time of year to go? What airlines fly direct or with the least stops? So many questions and time to get some answers. (Illustration by Kenneth Gitonga)

Biking around Stanley Park Seawall (Vancouver, BC)

September 22, 2012 |

Today’s goal before boarding our Princess Sapphire Cruise was to bicycle around the Seawall. The 8.8-kilometre Seawall is one of Stanley Park’s biggest attractions… a scenic 22-km path that lines Vancouver’s waterfront. We check out of the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier and get ourselves back on the Seabus, crossing the Vancouver Harbour, so we can drop off our luggage at The Cruise Ship Terminal at Canada Place.
