The Carnival Miracle has onboard activities like their: Playlist Productions at their Phantom Lounge; guests can participate in a Lip Sync Battle; join or spectate at the Hasbro Game Show. Personally, I had much enjoyment at the Metropolis Lobby/Atrium learning dance moves or at the RedFrog Pub for a challenging competition of shuffleboard.
Have you heard of the fun animal counters you can experience in Roatan? We visited the two options on our past cruises. There’s the Monkey and Sloth Hangout and/or Gumbalimba Park. If you love monkeys, you’ll love how up close and personal you will be walking through their habitat.
Our 2nd time experiencing this snorkeling port excursion here in the CoCo View Channel near Fantasy Island and the French Cay area of Roatán. Enjoy a preview of what you’ll see snorkeling the Prince Albert tanker.
We arranged this port excursion outside of Carnival Miracle (as we did a past excursion when on Carnival Conquest). Typically, the cruise arranges tours to Stingray City but in massive boat loads. It’s not our idea of enjoyment brushing shoulder to shoulder with a crowd to get a glimpse of wildlife. We read a lot of great TripAdvisor reviews (4.5 out of 5 stars based on 114 reviews) about Action Water Sports. It’s actually our 2nd time using this company as we had just been here just last month. We reserved 2 jet skis as single riders (Total: $220) through Grand Cayman Cruise Excursions (Island Marketing Ltd).
Not only a great opportunity for wildlife photography but a chance to pet animals while walking through a beautiful botanical garden on a beach-front park preservation at 20-acre Gumbalimba Park. Our tour wasn’t an official photo walk, but I created my own photo scavenger hunt as the park features white faced capuchin monkeys, exotic birds and other indigenous island animals. Enjoy a glimpse of the park through our photo walk.
We received ~$600 credit in order to reserve this cruise accumulated from a Casino Bonus offer and partial refund from our noisy stateroom aboard the Serenade of the Seas in April. How couldn’t we take the opportunity for cruise travel before these credits expired?! Wouldn’t you SetSail? We were able to reserve Stateroom Cabin: 104, Deck: 9 which is my favorite ocean view room! Get familiar with Allure of the Seas with our photo tour.
Friends we made on our recent Caribbean cruise… and whom we adventured together Snorkeling to the Antilla Ghost Shipwreck in Aruba… brought their boat to John’s Pass and extended us an invite. They found a rental property a few steps away from John’s Pass Village and Boardwalk which had its own boat dock (for an extra fee). It’s always great to discover another area only an hour’s drive away from home. If interested in a coastal vacation in the Tampa area, this is a great spot.
If you’ve never been on a cruise and wonder what’s there to do on a ship, here’s a glimpse of what there’s all to do aboard a Royal Caribbean Cruise. We boarded an 11-night Southern Caribbean Cruise from April 9 to April 20 and every day we were given a newsletter of activities and things to do on the ship. They call it the “Cruise Compass”. Learn more about the Headliners and Entertainment while on this cruise.
